Wes List Layout & Rules

To make it easier for you to navigate Wes List I'll explain the layout of this blog. On the navigation bar above you'll see links that will take you to a different page. These pages will be organized by movie genre. On these pages you'll see the film list of that genre with a very brief synopsis of the film. The pages and lists of each genre will obviously grow over time as I watch more films. Also, feel free to post your own review to a movie in the comment section! I'll go into more details on this below.

People viewing Wes List should feel free to post in the comment section any movies they have recently watched. The purpose of Wes List is to give movie watchers an idea of something to watch, so the more films that are posted the better! The only rules regarding users posting their own film reviews are...

  1. Reviews must be SPOILER FREE
  2. The film review must correlate to the genre to which you are posting in. Just to be clear this means don't comment a review to a horror film under the action section.
  3. The format of your review should start off with the movie title in bold with your review under that. It is also important to state whether or not the film is currently on Netflix so that those Netflix members who are aimlessly browsing the movie queue know to look for the movie on there!

About Wes List

What is "Wes List"?

Wes List is essentially a list of movies that I have watched and have found interesting enough to share with others. After watching these films I will post the title of the movie, director, cast, and a brief review of the movie. Since my own personal opinion of a movie will obviously be different from some others who have seen the particular film, I will leave the comments open for others to post their thoughts and reviews of the film. I do ask that all reviews remain SPOILER FREE for obvious reasons.

Why did I create Wes List?

I'm a movie lover! Friends and family often text me asking what are some good movies that are out there to watch. I always give the recommendation of a film I have recently seen, and shortly after I'll get a response saying "Man that movie was great!". Since I am normally told I give good movie recommendations I thought that it would be cool and convenient for those who can never decide what to watch on Netflix to start up a basic list of movies that I have seen, so that I could help give some insight!

Where do I watch my movies and what genres do you particularly recommend?

I am a long time Netflix member so one might usually catch me watching a movie on there when I have the time. That being said, most of the movies that I watch are on Netflix so if you see a title on the list and you have a Netflix membership, then you'll be able to catch the movie on there. As for genres I usually watch films that are along the lines of Horror, Thriller, Suspense, Drama, Comedy, Action, and even some documentaries. These are the genres of the films that will be posted. If there is a movie out there that you would recommend I will have my email posted so that others can submit their own reviews!
